Hello everyone, this is the first post of my blog END2END Deal Insights. In this blog I will be exploring, analyzing, and discovering everything about the M&A process. The blog is called END2END Deal Insights because we will dive deep into the whole end-to-end process of acquiring or selling a company. This includes portfolio analysis, sourcing, valuation, closing, and integration.
Why did we create END2END Deal Insights?
We created END2END Deal Insights to provide insight into the fascinating world of M&A operations. Many other blogs and websites on the internet focus solely on the financial side of the deal. We aim to broaden this perspective and also provide insight into the actual realization of the deal. Our focus extends beyond the valuation of the company to identifying synergies, valuating them, and showing how they are attempted to be captured in the real world.
Numerous articles have highlighted that more than 70% of mergers fail. This is often because many companies believe that the hard work is over once the deal is done. However, the actual hard work only begins when the deal is agreed upon (especially if you genuinely want to capture the synergies). We aim to demonstrate what it takes to make a deal succeed and emphasize that even the best M&A operations specialists on this planet do not always succeed.
The world of M&A operations is a wonderful, intriguing, challenging, and very human, making it exceptionally beautiful.
